Threat Prompts Increased Police Presence At School In Wallingford: Officials

Officials said the potential threat was determined to be not credible.

WALLINGFORD, CT — There will be an increased police presence at Lyman Hall High School on Tuesday due to a threat that was determined to be not credible, according to officials.

Lyman Hall received an anonymous tip on Monday evening about a “potential threat to our school,” according to Interim Principal Kenneth Daly.

“We immediately called the Wallingford Police Department, and they determined this threat was not credible,” Daly wrote in a message to families. “Out of an abundance of caution, there will be an additional police presence on Lyman Hall’s campus tomorrow.
