Wallingford Police Blotter: June 2 Through June 11, 2026

Recent arrests by the Wallingford Police Department. All charges are allegations and not convictions.

WALLINGFORD, CT — The following information has been provided by the Wallingford Police Department and does not indicate convictions:

Jonathan Mendoza, 29, of New Haven, was arrested June 2 on three counts of interfering with officer / resisting, two counts of assault on a public safety / EMS officer – physical injury, and one count each of criminal attempt at assault on a public safety / EMS officer – physical injury, second-degree reckless endangerment, possession of controlled substance – first offense, possession with intent to sell narcotic substance, use of drug paraphernalia, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, operating without insurance, and improper use – marker / license / registration. He was released on a promise to appear in court on July 14, according to state judicial records.

Zachariah D. Lubeck, 28, of Meriden, was arrested June 2 on a charge of fifth-degree larceny. He was released after posting a $100 bond with a court date of Aug. 6.

Robert S. Mangino, 66, of Wallingford, was arrested June 3 on a charge of first-degree criminal trespass. He was released after posting a $2,000 bond with a court date of Sept. 14.

Dakota J. Backstrom, 32, of Wallingford, was arrested June 5 on a charge of second-degree breach of peace. He was released after posting a $5,000 bond with a court date of July 29.

Kevin W. Condon, 60, of Wallingford, was arrested June 5 on a charge of second-degree breach of peace. He was released after posting a $5,000 bond with a court date of July 29.

Kelley A. Angeloni, 50, of Middletown, was arrested June 7 on charges of second-degree harassment and second-degree threatening – physical threat. She was released on a promise to appear in court on July 29.

Richard Castaldi, 44, of Hamden, was arrested June 10 on charges of larceny of motor vehicle – first offense and third-degree larceny. He was released after posting a $10,000 bond with a court date of Aug. 25.

Tapia R. Coronel, 32, of Wallingford, was arrested June 10 on a charge of sixth-degree larceny. She was released on a promise to appear in court on July 7.

Sharon Brailsford, 57, of Meriden, was arrested June 10 on a charge of sixth-degree larceny. She was released on a promise to appear in court on Aug. 21.

Daniel A. Schaefer, 62, of Northford, was arrested June 10 on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol / drugs, second-degree assault – motor vehicle, second-degree reckless endangerment, failure to drive in proper lane, and failure to wear safety belt. He was released after posting a $15,000 bond with a court date of July 24.

Eric M. Heenie, 48, of Wallingford, was arrested June 11 on charges of violating a protective order and second-degree harassment. He was released after posting a $7,500 bond with a court date of Aug. 5.
