Wresien Sets Sheehan Scoring Record In Basketball: PHOTOS
Sheehan's Megan Wresien became the school's all-time basketball scoring leader in the Titans' win over Branford.
WALLINGFORD, CT — Sheehan senior Megan Wresien became the school’s all-time basketball scoring leader in the Titans’ 54-26 victory over Branford on Thursday night in Wallingford.
Wresien broke Joe Gaetano Jr.’s record of 1,320 career points that was set in 1999. She finished with a game-high 19 points against Branford, and has 1,324 points and counting.
Wresien set the Sheehan girls basketball scoring record earlier in the week against Jonathan Law. She topped Liv Robles’ previous record of 1,295 points, and finished with 35 points in the 81-46 win over Law on Tuesday night at Sheehan High School.

Susan Hotaling scored 16 points in the win over Branford, and Gabby Busillo finished with nine points, according to GameTimeCT.
The Titans (11-2) will be back in action with a road game against Lauralton Hall on Tuesday, Feb. 3 at 6 p.m. in Milford.
