Bestselling Author To Discuss New Novel At West Hartford Library

WEST HARTFORD, CT — Bestselling author Nicole Blades will visit the West Hartford Public Library next month to discuss her latest novel, 'Would I Lie to You?'

The author talk will take place on Wednesday, Aug. 5, from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. in the Noah Webster Library Meeting Room, 20 S. Main St.

Blades' newest novel follows Lucille "Lu" Barlow, a suburban wife, mother, and Pilates studio owner whose seemingly ordinary life hides an extraordinary secret.

Unknown to her family, Lu has spent decades as an elite cat burglar.

When she is offered one final job before retirement — stealing a classified genetic code from her own unsuspecting husband — she must decide whether to risk everything in a high-stakes heist that could expose her past and upend her family's future.
