Protect Your Pets From Rabies At Special West Hartford Clinic
West Hartford Animal Control is offering $10 rabies shots for dogs and cats at West Hartford Town Hall this weekend.
WEST HARTFORD, CT — Residents can get low-cost rabies vaccinations for their pets this weekend at a public clinic hosted by West Hartford Animal Control.
The clinic is scheduled for May 2 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parking lot of West Hartford Town Hall, 50 S. Main St.
The event is open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis.

Vaccinations will cost $10 per pet, with cash payment required.
Officials said dogs must be leashed and cats must be in carriers.

Pet owners are also asked to bring prior vaccination records.
Animals without documentation will receive a one-year rabies vaccine, while those with proof of prior vaccination may be eligible for a three-year dose.
Rabies vaccinations are required by law and are intended to protect both pets and the broader community.
