West Hartford Police To Hold Free Child Car Seat Safety Clinic Friday

WEST HARTFORD, CT — Parents and caregivers can have their children's car seats checked for free on Friday during a safety clinic hosted by the West Hartford Police Department.

The car seat clinic is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 25, from 8 to 11 a.m. at 141 North Main St. in West Hartford.

The clinic will be held at the Montessori School behind the American School for the Deaf, according to the police department.

The event is part of a Connecticut Department of Transportation effort to partner with communities across the state to provide free car seat checkups.

Organizers said the clinic is intended to educate the public and help ensure children are traveling safely.

There is no charge to participate.
