West Hartford Senior Day To Feature Health Screenings, Wellness Services
A West Hartford senior center will host the free Senior Day event on Wednesday, May 13.
WEST HARTFORD, CT — West Hartford Senior Centers will host Senior Day at the Elmwood Senior Center on Wednesday, May 13, as part of the community’s celebration of Older Americans Month.
The free event will run from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the senior center and is co-sponsored by state Sen. Derek Slap, D-West Hartford, and the West Hartford-Bloomfield Health District.
Organizers said more than 50 vendors and service providers are expected to participate.

The event will include free coffee, pastries, and fruit, along with complimentary massage services and preventive health screenings.
Attendees will also be able to receive balance screenings and other wellness-related services.

No registration is required, and services will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
