West Hartford's Final Jubilation Thursdays Concert Set For This Week
West Hartford wraps up its Jubilation Thursdays Juneteenth concert series on Thursday, July 2, with free live music and performances.
WEST HARTFORD, CT — West Hartford will conclude its monthlong Juneteenth celebration with the final installment of its free Jubilation Thursdays concert series on Thursday, July 2, at Blue Back Square.
The event will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. and feature live music, dance, and spoken word performances celebrating freedom, history, and community.

- A. Marquis, a neo-soul vocalist known for soulful performances and powerful vocals.
- Studio 860, a dance crew showcasing high-energy choreography.
- School of Rock House Band, featuring student musicians performing live.
- Sugar & Spice, a spoken word poet whose work focuses on truth, healing, and inspiration.
The concert is free and open to the public.
The July 2 event marks the final performance in West Hartford's 2026 Jubilation Thursdays series, which celebrated Juneteenth throughout June with weekly community events and live entertainment at Blue Back Square.
