ATV Riders Surround Vehicle On I-95 In West Haven, State Police Launch Investigation: Reports

WEST HAVEN, CT — Connecticut State Police are investigating an incident that involved a group of dirt bike and ATV riders approaching a person’s vehicle on I-95 near Exit 43 in West Haven, according to multiple reports, including WFSB 3.

State police told WTNH News 8 that the “suspicious incident” happened on I-95 South where traffic enters at the Exit 43 on-ramp from Campbell Avenue.

The New Haven Register reports traffic camera photos from the scene showed some members of the group trying to open the vehicle’s door, and others leaning into the car’s open driver window.

No injuries were reported, according to WFSB.
