50-60 Juveniles Found At Underage Drinking Party In Weston: Police

WESTON, CT — A Weston homeowner was charged after police responded to a large gathering where underage drinking was suspected and found approximately 50 to 60 people at the property, police said.

Weston police responded to a home on Ladder Hill Road North on Aug. 10 after receiving a report of a large gathering where juveniles were suspected of consuming alcohol.

Officers arrived to find approximately 50 to 60 people at the residence, many of whom appeared to be juveniles, according to police.

As officers approached, numerous people fled the property and officers saw beverage containers being discarded, police said.

Following an investigation, the homeowner was charged with permitting a minor to possess alcohol.

The homeowner was issued a summons and is scheduled to appear Aug. 24 at Stamford Superior Court, according to police.
