Vehicle Crashes Onto Rock Wall In Weston: Fire Officials

WESTON, CT — A vehicle went off the road and ended up on a rock wall in Weston late Thursday night, fire officials said.

Weston police, fire and EMS were dispatched to Lyons Plain Road near North Avenue at 10:53 p.m. for a reported motor vehicle crash, according to the Weston Volunteer Fire Department.

When firefighters arrived, they found a single vehicle off the roadway and on a rock wall.

The vehicle's occupant was evaluated by Weston EMS for non-life-threatening injuries, officials said. The department did not say whether the person was transported to a hospital.

Engine 7, Rescue 5 and unit 552 responded to the crash. All units were back in service by 12:05 a.m. Friday.

No additional information about what caused the crash was immediately released.
