2 Road Milling & Paving Projects In Westport Scheduled For May
Both projects are along state roads, according to officials.
WESTPORT, CT — Two state road milling and paving projects are scheduled to begin in May in Westport, according to officials.
About a mile-long strip of Route 136, from South Compo Road to the Sherwood Island Connector, is scheduled to begin with milling on May 10 and run to May 13. The paving portion is set for May 17 to May 22.
The second project calls for a 1.34-mile section of Route 136, from Main Street to the Weston town line, to begin with milling on May 26 and end on May 29.

Paving of this project is set for May 31 to June 4.
Both projects call for work at night from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.

"Adjustments to this schedule will be necessary due to inclement weather," officials said.
