Date Set For Annual Staples High School Charity Event
The event features races and activities for children.
WESTPORT, CT — Organizers of the annual Staples Tuition Grants Kids Fun Run announced the event will take place on May 30 at Loeffler Field at Staples High School from 8:45 a.m. to 10 a.m.
The event is open to children in prekindergarten through fifth grade and will include running activities, a bounce house, face painting, snacks and awards.
Organizers said the event supports Staples Tuition Grants, a Westport-based organization that provides financial assistance to local students pursuing higher education.

The event is co-chaired by Staples High School freshman Ryan Krenzer and senior Will Briggs. Staples High School students also will volunteer during the event.
According to organizers, proceeds from registration will support Staples Tuition Grants’ efforts to assist local students with financial need as they pursue college.
