Westport Country Playhouse Single Tickets Go On Sale This Week For 2026-27 Season

WESTPORT, CT — Single tickets for Westport Country Playhouse’s 2026-27 season will go on sale at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 1.

Tickets may be purchased by phone at 203-227-4177, in person at the Playhouse, 25 Powers Court, between 1 and 5 p.m., or online at westportplayhouse.org/2026-2027-season/.

Single tickets for the season’s six mainstage productions start at $50. Discounts are available for students, senior citizens, educators, military members, first responders, Indigenous peoples, professional playwrights and groups. Pay-what-you-will options and library passes also are available.

The Playhouse’s 96th theater season will run from October 2026 through July 2027 and include comedy, drama, music and mystery.

The world premiere of “Ken Ludwig’s Pride and Prejudice, Part 2: Napoleon at Pemberley,” written by Ken Ludwig and directed by Emily Mann, will run Oct. 20-Nov. 7. The sequel to Jane Austen’s “Pride and Prejudice” follows events at Pemberley after the arrival of an unexpected houseguest, Napoleon Bonaparte.

“A Sherlock Carol” will return for a fourth consecutive year Dec. 12-20. The holiday production, written and directed by Mark Shanahan, is based on a Sherlock Holmes tale by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and “A Christmas Carol” by Charles Dickens.

“Murder for Two” will run March 4-7. The musical comedy murder mystery features two actors playing 13 roles and the piano. The production has a book and lyrics by Kellen Blair, book and music by Joe Kinosian, and is directed by Scott Weinstein.

Two-time Tony Award winner Judith Ivey will star in the world premiere of “The Pancake Club,” running April 20-May 8. Written by Charlotte Booker and directed by Shanahan, the play features Ivey as Brenda, a waitress at a small-town diner where a group of senior men regularly meet for breakfast and call themselves the Pancake Club.

“The Goldsmith,” written and performed by Sharone Sayegh and directed by Zachary Prince, will run May 19-22. Inspired by Sayegh’s family journey, the production follows jewelry passed through generations from Iraq to Israel and, ultimately, to America.

“The Legend of Georgia McBride,” written by Matthew Lopez and directed by Bruce Warren, will run July 13-31. The play follows Casey, an Elvis impersonator who is expecting to become a father and struggling financially. After losing his Elvis gig, he takes a job at a drag club.
