Westport Resident To Perform This Month At New York's Carnegie Hall

She has been chosen to perform in the Camp Broadway Ensemble at the New York Pops' 43rd Birthday Gala.

WESTPORT, CT — Olivia Jackson of Westport has been selected to perform in the Camp Broadway Ensemble at the New York Pops’ 43rd Birthday Gala, scheduled for April 27, 2026, at Carnegie Hall in New York City.

The ensemble will appear alongside the New York Pops under the direction of Music Director and Conductor Steven Reineke. The concert will honor composer Stephen Schwartz, a recipient of Grammy, Academy and Tony awards.

The 60-member Camp Broadway Ensemble includes performers ages 12 to 17 from 15 U.S. states, representing 48 cities, as well as participants from Jakarta, Indonesia, and the United Kingdom. The group was cast and will be directed by Artistic Director Theo Lencicki.

In preparation for the performance, participants will take part in a three-day rehearsal process that includes vocal instruction led by Music Director Christine Riley and a dance masterclass taught by Alicia Albright, dance captain for the Broadway production of “Wicked.”

This year marks the 18th time Camp Broadway has collaborated with the New York Pops for the organization’s annual gala.
