Organizers said the route will be a flat, approximately 30-minute ride through the historic neighborhood.

Riders are encouraged to decorate their bicycles and wear themed costumes, with a limited number of America 250-themed decorations available.

Following the parade, a kickoff celebration will take place at the Keeney Center, featuring live music and food from Village Pizza.

Throughout the month, visitors can also explore local businesses, restaurants, museums, and the waterfront in Connecticut’s largest historic district.
