2 Guns Recovered After Early Morning Crash In Wilton: Police

WILTON, CT — Two people were taken into custody early Tuesday after Wilton police responding to a reported motor vehicle crash recovered two firearms, including a so-called “ghost gun."

Police said officers responded to the crash around 4 a.m. and encountered two individuals near the vehicle who were evasive about their involvement in the incident.

During the investigation, an officer saw one of the individuals discard a bag, police said. Officers later recovered two firearms from inside the bag, including a ghost gun, according to the department.

Police also said a high-capacity magazine was seized during the investigation.

Both individuals were taken into custody and the firearms were secured, police said.
