Wilton Fireworks Rescheduled For September After Weather Cancellation
The town's postponed fireworks celebration will return in September.
WILTON, CT — Wilton's postponed fireworks celebration has been rescheduled for September, police announced.
The fireworks display will take place Sept. 5 at dusk at the Wilton High School Complex, according to the Wilton Police Department.
The event was originally planned for July 4 but was postponed due to weather.

Tickets purchased for the original July 4 celebration will be honored on the new date. Tickets will also be available for $20 on the night of the event.
A rain date is scheduled for Sept. 6.

"Mother Nature won Round 1. We're going for the rematch," police wrote in announcing the rescheduled event.
Officials said more information will be released as the event approaches.
