Wilton Garden Club Hosting Annual Mother’s Day Plant Sale
The two-day event will feature locally grown plants, flowers and gifts at the town center gazebo.
WILTON, CT — The Wilton Garden Club will hold its 87th annual Mother’s Day Plant Sale on May 8 and 9 at the Wilton Town Center Gazebo.
The sale will run from noon to 6 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, organizers said.
This year’s event will be fully tented for the first time, making it a rain-or-shine sale.

Shoppers can expect a selection of locally grown perennials, native plants, herbs and vegetables, including more than 27 varieties of tomatoes and peppers.
A section of dahlias, hanging baskets, fresh-cut flowers and floral gifts will also be available ahead of Mother’s Day.

Certified UConn Master Gardeners will be on hand to offer advice, and volunteers will assist shoppers with carrying purchases.
Proceeds from the sale support community projects in Wilton, including maintaining public gardens, conservation efforts and local programs.
