Bid Local, Win Big: Windsor Center Fundraiser Auction Set For March

WINDSOR, CT — First Town Downtown is turning to an online fundraiser later this month to help support its work in Windsor Center, with bidding set to open March 22 and continue through March 28.

The nonprofit organization announced that its “First Town Forward” online auction will feature a range of items, including getaway packages, local experiences and other gifts, with proceeds going toward programs and projects tied to Windsor’s downtown district.

According to First Town Downtown, the auction is scheduled to run from Sunday, March 22, through Saturday, March 28. Supporters can preview items and register before bidding opens through the organization’s auction page.

In promoting the fundraiser, First Town Downtown framed the auction as a way for residents to support the local businesses and community character that define Windsor Center. The group said the event is meant to help fund the work it does to support small businesses and downtown activity.

The auction is being hosted through 32 Auctions, and First Town Downtown is also using the campaign to thank sponsors and seek additional support. The group said questions can be sent by text to 860-712-5514.
