Crash Closes I-91 In Both Directions In Windsor

WINDSOR, CT — Interstate 91 was closed in both directions in Windsor Monday night after a motorcycle crash was reported, according to the state Department of Transportation and Connecticut State Police.

The DOT reported the crash on I-91 northbound between exits 38 and 39 at 8:32 p.m. Monday, May 25. The left and right lanes were closed, according to the DOT.

State police said I-91 was closed northbound at Exit 38 and southbound at Exit 41 after the crash was reported.

Drivers were asked to avoid the area while the scene remained active and the investigation was in progress, state police said.

The road has since reopened.
