Windsor Residents Invited To Earth Day Event
The Windsor Fire Marshal's Office plans a public event centered on fire prevention.
WINDSOR, CT — The Windsor Fire Marshal’s Office is inviting residents to mark Earth Day with coffee, conversation and a focus on fire safety later this month.
The office is scheduled to host an “Earth Day & Fire Safety” event on Wednesday, April 22, from 9 a.m. to noon at The Bean @ 226.
According to the event flyer, the gathering will include an Earth Day celebration and an opportunity for residents to learn forest fire safety tips aimed at helping protect the community.

The Fire Marshal’s Office also plans to discuss local fire department statistics, Connecticut’s forest fire seasons, and steps residents can take to help reduce fire risk.
The event is being held at The Bean @ 226 in Windsor.
