CT Fire Academy Issues Update On Phone Outage

WINDSOR LOCKS, CT — Phone lines remain down at the Connecticut Fire Academy, officials said Wednesday morning.

The outage affects the Division of Fire Service Administration, the Connecticut Fire Academy and the CFA Bookstore, according to a post from the academy.

Officials said people who need immediate assistance can call a temporary cell phone number at 860-622-1620.

The academy also listed two email contacts for questions: jeff.morrissette@ct.gov and kara.ouellette@ct.gov.

Additional contact information can be found on the CFPC/CT Fire Academy webpage, officials said.

“We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate everyone’s patience while the issue is being addressed,” the academy said in the post.

Officials didn't say what caused the outage.
