East Windsor Park Sets Tentative Opening Date
East Windsor Parks and Recreation said staff are getting the park ready for summer visitors.
EAST WINDSOR, CT — East Windsor Park is almost ready for another summer season.
East Windsor Parks and Recreation said Department of Public Works and recreation staff have been working to prepare the park at 27 Reservoir Ave. in Broad Brook for visitors.
The tentative opening date is June 13, according to East Windsor Parks and Recreation. The park is expected to be open that weekend, June 13 and June 14, before moving to seven-day-a-week operations beginning June 20.

The waterfront will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from noon to 6:45 p.m. Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
The splashpad will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The snack bar is scheduled to open June 25. Its planned hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, though hours are subject to change based on staffing and weather.
Admission is free for residents with proof of residency. Non-resident admission is $5 per adult and $3 per child, while children under 2 and adults over 60 are free.
Pavilion rentals are also available. The in-season rate is $225, with a $50 refundable clean-up fee, a $3 per person gate fee for non-residents and renter’s insurance required.
