October In East Windsor: Fall Fun, Festivals & More

Fall is officially here in East Windsor, and there’s no shortage of ways to make the most of it. From festivals and farmers markets to pumpkin patches, live music and other seasonal fun, October brings plenty of reasons to get out and enjoy what’s happening close to home.

Here are some events and activities happening in and around East Windsor this October.

Halloween In The Hangars Brew Fest

When: Saturday, Oct. 24, 2026, 7–10 p.m.
Where: New England Air Museum, 36 Perimeter Road, Windsor Locks

Head to New England Air Museum for Halloween in the Hangars Brew Fest, a 21-and-over Halloween party held among more than 100 historic aircraft. Guests can sample craft beer from local and regional breweries, catch live music across three hangars, visit food trucks and show off their Halloween costumes. Tickets can be purchased online.

Nightmare On Broad Street

When: Thursday, Oct. 29, 2026, 5:30–7:30 p.m.
Where: Windsor Town Green and Broad Street area, 275 Broad Sreet, Windsor

Make the trip to nearby Windsor for Nightmare on Broad Street, a free evening of Halloween fun for the whole family. Visitors can trick-or-treat along Broad Street and the Town Green while enjoying Halloween portraits, an outdoor movie, a haunted house and bus, tractor-drawn hayrides and more.

Pumpkin Patch Trolley 2026

When: Select dates Oct. 2 through Nov. 1, 2026
Where: Connecticut Trolley Museum, 58 North Road, East Windsor

Climb aboard for a fall adventure during Pumpkin Patch Trolley 2026 at the Connecticut Trolley Museum. Families can ride a trolley to the pumpkin patch, where children ages 2 to 17 can choose a sugar-sized pumpkin. After the ride, return to the museum for pumpkin decorating, a corn box, a harvest play area and museum exhibits.

Scare Games: Haunted Laser Tag

When: Friday and Saturday nights after 8 p.m., Oct. 2–31, 2026
Where: Spare Time Entertainment, 129 Ella Grasso Turnpike, Windsor Locks

Head to Spare Time Entertainment for Scare Games: Haunted Laser Tag, a spooky twist on the classic game. The $10 experience sends players into a darkened arena filled with creepy decorations, costumed characters, ghosts, ghouls and unexpected surprises.

Foster Family Farm

When: Daily through Nov. 1, 2026; hours vary by day
Where: Foster Family Farm, 90 Foster Street, South Windsor

Spend a fall day at Foster Family Farm in nearby South Windsor, where visitors can explore corn mazes, take a hayride, meet farm animals and pick out pumpkins. Those looking for an after-dark adventure can also tackle the farm’s night mazes on Friday and Saturday evenings during October.
