Located in the heart of downtown Wilmington, The Quoin Hotel is a 24-room boutique property set within a meticulously restored 1885 brownstone that blends historic character with refined, modern design. Featuring mid-century modern furnishings, original fireplaces, and carefully curated vintage finds, the hotel celebrates its past while offering a sophisticated contemporary experience. Each guest room and executive suite is thoughtfully designed with intricate details that make every stay deeply personal. Reimagined by Philadelphia-based hospitality company Method Co. in partnership with Buccini/Pollin Group, the property takes its name from the Old French word “quoin,” meaning “corner” or “angle,” a nod to both its architectural roots and its distinctive place in Wilmington’s historic landscape.
