Delaware's children can't wait — and neither can we.
The decisions being made right now in the General Assembly will shape the quality and equity of public
education for an entire generation. LWVDE (League of Women Voters Delaware) has a proud history of being a trusted, respected voice in those
rooms — but only if we show up.

That's why we're rebuilding the Advocacy Corps Education Portfolio group, and we need YOU.
Yes, many of us have already guided our own children and grandchildren through Delaware's schools. But the
youngest members of our families and communities are still in those classrooms — and the legislation being
written today will determine what opportunities are available to them. They need advocates who understand
what's at stake. They need us.

The Advocacy Corps has earned a well-respected seat at the table with the General Assembly and key
education organizations across the state. That influence is real — but it depends on active, engaged members
who are ready to dig into proposed legislation and make their voices heard.
