Two Men Killed in Bradenton Shooting, Police Say

A double homicide is under investigation in Bradenton after two men were found fatally shot near the end of a dead-end street, police said.

BRADENTON, FL — Two men were killed in a Tuesday evening shooting in Bradenton, the Bradenton Police Department said in a news release.

The Emergency Communications Center received a report of a shooting in the 400 block of 12th Avenue E. at about 6:20 p.m.

Officers arrived within three minutes and found two gunshot victims near the end of a dead-end road, police said.

Antonio Rosario, 30, died at the scene, investigators said. Willie Stubbs, 43, died while being transported to a hospital.

Bradenton police detectives and the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office Homicide Investigation Unit are investigating the deaths and working to identify the person or people responsible.
