World's Largest Cinema Screen, Entertainment Complex Planned At Cleveland Street Corridor Entrance
A planned $50M private project in Clearwater includes a seven-screen multiplex, bowling, laser tag, dining and arcade gaming.

CLEARWATER, FL — A major new entertainment destination is planned for downtown Clearwater, where EVO Entertainment is preparing to develop its flagship family entertainment center at the entrance to the Cleveland Street corridor.
The 83,000-square-foot project planned at Cleveland Street and Myrtle Avenue represents an approximately $50 million private investment. It includes the largest cinema screen in the world, according to a news release from the Cleveland Street Alliance.
The project is “designed to create sustained, high-volume activity across the district” and to add a new focal point to the area, the news release said.

The development comes at a time of revitalization in downtown Clearwater through historic restoration and redevelopment projects along Cleveland Street, the alliance said.
At the center of the project is a seven-screen multiplex anchored by the largest cinema screen in the world, spanning more than 130 feet wide, the release said.

The multiplex will also be the first in the world to feature both Dolby Vision projection and Dolby Atmos sound in every auditorium.
In addition to the cinema, the site will also include bowling, arcade gaming, laser tag, dining and interactive attractions.
