Caledonia will be participating in the first-ever Dunedin Beer Bingo!

Here are the official details from the event organizer:

Welcome to the first ever Dunedin Beer Bingo! This is a Pub Crawl that will take place between noon and 7pm on Saturday, August 29th in downtown Dunedin.

Here is how it works.
Bingo cards will be made available for pick up starting Wednesday, August 25th at select Dunedin locations (we will announce them the week of). Cards will be available until 3pm the day of the event. You will have from noon - 7pm to get a Beer Bingo.

**Optional - Drop off a couple of cans of food at select locations for Dunedin Cares Food Pantry. Let's fill up the pantry and show the community that we do care!

Each bingo card will have logos of participating businesses. Every business you visit on your bingo card will stamp/daub their logo when you purchase a beer (or other item that is highlighted). You pick your start time, you pick the businesses you wish to go to and the order you wish to go. Just be done before 7pm.

To get “Beer Bingo” you must get stamps that give you:
--A straight horizontal line
--A straight vertical line
--A straight diagonal line
--4 Corners

Upon obtaining a “Beer Bingo” leave your card at the final locations with your name, phone number and email address on the back. All participating businesses will be throwing in different items and we will have a few “gift baskets” of these items that we will give away in a random drawing of those who dropped off their information after they got Beer Bingo.

Any special deals on beer, food or other items will be published on the event page and made available the day of the event. In addition, we will make sure all participating businesses are announced ahead of time to help you plan your day (we are still completing our list - almost done).

Please remember that open containers are not legal in Dunedin (YET!). All beer must be consumed at the business where it was purchased prior to moving on to the next spot. We also ask that you drink responsibly and advise the consideration of ride shares or designated drivers.

All of the participating businesses are excited about what we hope can become an annual event and we thank you in advance for your participation.
