Excellent student who also cares about the environment. He organized a 5K with a friend to support Tampa Bay Watch, Keep Pinellas Beautiful, and the Suncoast Bird Sanctuary, where they raised over $1,000 in donations. He takes weekends to help pick up trash and is an avid birdwatcher. Wyland is also a member of the student leadership council, where they organized an event to address mental health issues that affect teens. Overall, he’s a busy guy who wants to help the environment while still maintaining an excellent grade average.
