Two hundred and fifty years of America. One hundred and thirty years of Miami. One city ready to celebrate both.
This Fourth of July, Museum of Museum invites Greater Miami to come together downtown for a free, family-friendly Independence Day celebration that is festive, meaningful, and unmistakably 305. At the center of it all is Freedom Plane: Documents that Forged a Nation — a rare traveling exhibition from the National Archives bringing foundational American documents to life, including the Treaty of Paris and other extraordinary artifacts. We are one of only eight museums in the nation selected to host this once-in-a-generation exhibition. This is your chance to stand face to face with the documents that shaped a country.
But this is Miami, so we’re making it a party.
Hear the live reading from the winner of our oratory contest. Move to the music. Let the kids explore. Grab a bite from on-site vendors. And spend the day surrounded by neighbors, newcomers, and everyone in between to mark a moment that belongs to all of us.
History is happening here. Come be part of it.
