Town Square University Park

Town Square University Parkway is a unique senior center, adult day center, and community resource center located in Sarasota, Florida. Designed as an immersive 1950s-themed town, our 15,000-square-foot center provides a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for older adults while offering education, resources, and respite for caregivers.

Our mission is to help older adults thrive through meaningful engagement, social connection, health support, and purposeful programming. We serve individuals living with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, stroke recovery, mild cognitive impairment, and other age-related conditions, while also welcoming seniors seeking socialization and community involvement.

Unlike traditional adult day centers, The Club combines evidence-based programming with a nostalgic environment that encourages conversation, memory recall, creativity, and participation. Members can enjoy a variety of themed spaces including Rosie’s Diner, an Art Studio, Movie Theater, Library, Garden Shop, Recreation Center, Barbershop, and more. Each day is filled with activities designed to promote cognitive stimulation, physical wellness, social engagement, and emotional well-being.

Town Square University Parkway is also a recognized leader in FREE caregiver education and support. We proudly offer a variety of free programs that are open to the public, including dementia caregiver support groups, Parkinson's support groups, Mild Cognitive Impairment support groups, grief and loss support, educational seminars, Memory Cafés, senior breakfasts, and community resource events. These programs provide families with trusted information, practical strategies, and meaningful connections to others navigating similar challenges.

Our interdisciplinary approach includes partnerships with healthcare providers, rehabilitation specialists, behavioral health professionals, transport & community organizations to ensure families have access to comprehensive support.
