Crash Shuts Down Traffic On Major Sarasota Road: Sheriff’s Office
FL troopers and Sarasota County deputies are investigating a crash on a major Sarasota road. Drivers are asked to find alternate routes.

SARASOTA, FL — Traffic is backed up during the investigation of a Tuesday morning crash along a major Sarasota road, authorities said.
The crash has shut down all eastbound lanes of Bee Ridge Road between Midland Road and Worcester Road, the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office said.
Deputies are at the scene assisting the Florida Highway Patrol, the lead agency investigating the crash.
