Open Window brings its debut album, One Track Mind, to Campus JAX for a special Thursday night album-launch performance featuring all original music.
Formed in Los Angeles and now newly reunited, Open Window is a Southern California rock band with a sound that reaches back to the golden age of guitar-driven rock while carrying the honesty, urgency, and emotional edge of today. This is not a tribute act, not a nostalgia act, and not a band built on gimmicks. Open Window is four seasoned musicians writing songs that feel lived-in, melodic, direct, and meant to be played loud in a room where people are truly listening.
Led by vocalist Daniel E. Bautista, with James S. Rutherford on guitars, Wayne Rothstein on bass and backing vocals, and John Aponte on drums, Open Window delivers the kind of rock that feels familiar in the best possible way: big choruses, real guitars, heartfelt lyrics, and the unmistakable chemistry of players who have found their way back to each other.
For Campus JAX, this evening is also a JAX SongStage special presentation — a night devoted to original songs, the stories behind them, and the rare energy of a band stepping fully into its next chapter.
