Local Coffee Company Opens Second Sprouts Market Cafe In Tampa Bay

The Tampa-based coffee company will host a grand opening celebration at its new cafe inside a Sprouts Farmers Market.

VALRICO, FL — Buddy Brew Coffee will celebrate the opening of a new coffee shop inside the Sprouts Farmers Market in Valrico on Friday.

A ceremonial ribbon cutting will take place at the location, 3315 Lithia Pinecrest Road, at 9:55 a.m., just before the cafe opens, Buddy Brew said in a news release.

This is the second of 10 planned Buddy Brew cafés opening inside Sprouts stores across the Tampa Bay area this summer.

The grand opening celebration will include handcrafted beverages, special promotions and giveaways throughout the day.

Guests at the event can get $3 summer specialty drinks all day. The first 25 people in line will receive gift bags filled with Buddy Brew merchandise, gift cards and other surprises. One guest will also win free coffee for a year.

"The response to our first Sprouts café has been incredible, and we're excited to continue that momentum in Valrico," Dave Ward, CEO of Buddy Brew, said. "This partnership allows us to bring Buddy Brew to more neighborhoods than ever before, and we can't wait to welcome the Valrico community."

The Valrico cafe will serve Buddy Brew's full menu, including handcrafted espresso beverages, cold brew, matcha, smoothies, breakfast, lunch, fresh pastries and seasonal specialty drinks.

The company, based in Tampa, operates cafes across Florida, along with a dedicated roastery and cold brew production facility, and distributes nationwide.
