"It's time to turn that page," the owner of a popular Tampa brewery said about the closure of its Ybor City taproom after nearly 3 decades.

TAMPA, FL — A popular Tampa brewery is closing its Ybor City taproom by the end of the month.

Tampa Bay Brewing Company will serve its last beer at its Centro Ybor location at 1600 E. 8th Ave. on May 31, according to an announcement made on social media.

“After nearly 30 years in Ybor City, with our first pints officially being served February 1997, the time has come for us to reluctantly turn the page and close this chapter of our history,” owner David Doble said.
