Woman Found Dead Along Tampa Road: Hillsborough Sheriff
A woman was found dead on the side of a Tampa road, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said.
TAMPA, FL — A woman was found dead Tuesday morning along a Tampa roadway, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said in a news release.
A deputy was driving near Sligh Avenue and 78th Street at about 7:39 a.m. when he saw a woman lying unresponsive on the side of the road.
The woman had no visible signs of injury, investigators said.

Hillsborough County Fire Rescue and deputies responded to the scene and determined she was dead.
The sheriff's office is conducting a death investigation.
