2 St. Pete Restaurants Recognized By Michelin Guide FL

Two St. Pete restaurants — an eatery inspired by Tokyo's underground listening bars and dining at the Vinoy — are Michelin-recommended.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — Two St. Petersburg restaurants were honored by Michelin Guide Florida during Thursday’s ceremony announcing the 2026 selections.

In total, two new Florida restaurants were awarded Michelin stars, while 10 earned the Bib Gourmand distinction and 38 were named Michelin-recommended eateries.

The Michelin Guide launched in Florida in 2022 as a partnership with Visit Florida and initially focused on Miami, Orlando and Tampa. Last year, it expanded to include the greater Fort Lauderdale area, the Palm Beaches, and the St. Petersburg-Clearwater area.

In St. Petersburg, Elliott Aster and In Between Days made the Michelin-recommended list.

  • Elliott Aster, a refined dining restaurant, opened at The Vinoy Resort & Golf Club along the downtown waterfront in May 2025. It replaced Marchand’s Bar & Grill, which closed in 2020.

The restaurant is a concept from Michelin-starred Chef Lee Wolen and the Boka Restaurant Group.

“We are thrilled and honored to be named one of Florida’s Michelin Recommended! Thank you [Michelin Guide] for recognizing our team’s hard work, dedication, and passion,” Elliott Aster’s team wrote in a social media post.

“... with its high ceilings and large chandeliers, this Italian-inspired steakhouse has a grand feel. The menu is centered around wood-fired steaks and house-made pastas, blending classic Italian foundations with a polished steakhouse sensibility. Begin with the focaccia ‘pull apart’ rolls with pecorino and taleggio cheese and wildflower honey. If pasta is your passion, have the radiatore alla vodka with a decadent sauce that clings to every ridge and finishes with a little heat from Calabrian chili. Complete your meal with a caramel coffee budino, served in a sundae glass topped with a chocolate cookie crumble,” according to its Michelin Guide listing.

Inspired by the underground listening bars of Tokyo, In Between Days is located in a house at 2340 1st Ave. S.

The eatery wrote in a social media post, “We are humbled to be included in the 2026 [Michelin Guide.] Much more soon.”

According to the guide, “In Between Days bills itself as Florida’s first Tokyo-style sake bar and vinyl house. The space feels intentionally intimate where the lights stay low, the records spin slowly and the food comes in a tight little lineup of dishes that include gyoza, hamachi, oysters and a single rotating noodle dish. This is very much a place you settle into. The team leans into sake-based cocktails, the vibe feels warm and effortless and the food hits a sweet spot between comfort and quiet technical skill.”

"Congratulations to the outstanding restaurants who were recognized … as our destination’s culinary culture continues to shine and gain even more recognition for our standout dining experiences," Brian Lowack, president and CEO for Visit St. Pete-Clearwater, said. "Just as our residents take pride in welcoming visitors to the destination, our restaurateurs and chefs take pride in the culinary experiences they deliver to guests. We have seen demonstrable growth among visitors who are seeking out our dining scene as a reason to visit our destination, and we will continue to showcase our award-winning culinary excellence and amazing cultural experiences that help define our incredible beach culture.”
