Man Dies After Being Hit By Car While Crossing Street In Lealman: FL Troopers
A 67-year-old Pinellas Park man died after walking into a car's path while crossing 66th Street North in the Lealman area, FL troopers said.
LEALMAN, FL — A 67-year-old Pinellas Park man died Thursday morning after being hit by a car while crossing 66th Street North in the Lealman area, the Florida Highway Patrol said in a news release.
The man was crossing the highway near 56th Avenue North when he walked into the path of a Kia Soul heading north on 66th Street North and was hit by the car, troopers said.
The victim was brought to an area hospital with serious injuries and later died from them.

FHP didn’t say whether the car’s driver, a 48-year-old Palm Harbor man, was injured in the crash.
