Before you sign a contractor’s estimate, get an independent second opinion. Higgins Home Advocacy helps Palm Beach County homeowners understand what a contractor or technician is recommending, what is necessary, what may be optional, and what questions still need answers — without sales pressure.

Founded by U.S. Army veteran William R. Higgins II, the company offers proposal reviews, on-site homeowner advocacy, and ongoing support for major home-repair decisions. Proposal reviews start at $119 and can include a public license-status check, review of up to four contractor proposals, a Proposal Clarity Scorecard, and clear questions to ask about scope, warranties, exclusions, and payment.

Higgins Home Advocacy is fully independent and accepts no contractor commissions, referral fees, or kickbacks. Palm Beach County service has no travel fee, with extended service available in Martin and Broward counties.
