Recycling Event - Residents MUST Register THIS Thursday!
What’s hiding in your garage? Half-used paint cans, mystery cleaners, and a few “what even is this?” containers? Let’s get rid of them the right way.
If you’re an Alpharetta resident with household hazardous waste like paint, batteries, or chemicals, there’s a safe (and easy) way to dispose of it.
Stop by the Recycling Collection Event Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM. Located at Alpharetta Public Works Department, 1790 Hembree Road.
Common items to be accepted include paint and paint related substances, old gasoline, home, auto, and garden chemicals, poisons, and many other substances. Plus, household fire extinguishers have been added to the list of acceptable items.

This collection is limited to those residing within the Alpharetta City Limits that have registered to participate. Please note that we are unable to offer this collection to Alpharetta businesses.
