Mass Shooting Suspect Sought In GA: FBI

ATLANTA, GA — Authorities are searching for a man in connection with a mass shooting that killed a person and injured 10 others, the FBI Atlanta office said Thursday.

The FBI and Atlanta Police are searching for Ze'Kevious Zenard Perry, a 24-year-old authorities said should be considered armed and dangerous.

Authorities say Perry is sought in connection with the July 28, 2025 mass shooting that killed one person and injured 10 others in the 300 block of Edgewood Avenue.

The deadly shooting occurred around 1:30 a.m. in an area where bars were present, police said at the time.

The shooting killed a person and injured seven males and three females, including an 18-year-old man who was in critical condition, Atlanta Police Chief Darin Schierbaum said in the past. Guns and 34 shell casings were recovered from the scene, he said.

Three males and a female, ages and descriptions unknown, were sought in connection with the shooting, Schierbaum said in the past.

Arrest warrants against Perry were issued in April, and he was charged with felony murder and 10 counts of aggravated assault in the Fulton County Magistrate Court system, the FBI said.

Perry may have ties to and could currently be in the New York City area, authorities said.
