Missing Teen, Son Of Airport Staffer, Disappears From ATL Home

Atlanta Police and Atlanta airport officials say they are searching for a missing 16-year-old boy, whose the son of an airport employee.

ATLANTA, GA — The 16-year-old son of an Atlanta airport employee has disappeared, and airport officials are asking for help in locating him.

Atlanta Police has issued a be-on-the-lookout for Benjamin Braithwaite, who they say was last seen around 9:30 a.m. Monday at his home in the 4000 block of Regency Trace Southwest.

Officers responded to reports of a missing juvenile around 6:45 a.m. Tuesday at Regency Trace, police said.

Braithwaite is the son of an employee at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, officials said.

Police said Braithwaite is 6-feet-5-inches tall, weighs 175 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black joggers and Nike running shoes, police said.
