1 Dead, 2 Injured In Head-On DeKalb Crash

DECATUR, GA — A woman has died and two other people were injured during a head-on collision Monday evening at the Glenwood Road and Hollyhock Terrace intersection.

DeKalb County Police on Tuesday said officers responded to the crash around 6 p.m.

A driver traveling on Glenwood crossed the center line into oncoming traffic due to an unknown cause and hit another vehicle head-on, police said.

The female passenger in the vehicle that was hit died of her injuries, police said. She was not identified.

Both drivers suffered critical injuries and were rushed to the hospital, police said. Their statuses were not immediately known.

The investigation remains active.
