Higher Calling Christian Academy (HCCA) is a faith-based learning community located in South DeKalb County dedicated to helping children grow academically, socially, emotionally, and creatively in a safe and nurturing environment. Our Summer Camp 2026 theme, “Choose Your Adventure: A Summer of Discovery at HCCA,” gives families the flexibility to enroll their child for the entire summer or select individual weeks based on their child’s interests. Throughout the summer, campers ages 5–12 will experience engaging, hands-on learning through themed weeks focused on gardening and sustainability, STEAM exploration, sports and teamwork, entrepreneurship, leadership, and creative discovery. DECATUR, GA — Catherine Street will be closed Tuesday, Sept. 13, due to television filming, DeKalb County officials said in a news release Thursday. The street will be closed to through-traffic from 9 a.m.-9 p.m., between 1368 and 1420, officials said. The county said road closure and detour signs will be placed noting local traffic restrictions.
