Higher Calling Christian Academy (HCCA) is a faith-based learning community located in South DeKalb County dedicated to helping children grow academically, socially, emotionally, and creatively in a safe and nurturing environment. Our Summer Camp 2026 theme, “Choose Your Adventure: A Summer of Discovery at HCCA,” gives families the flexibility to enroll their child for the entire summer or select individual weeks based on their child’s interests. ELLENWOOD, GA — A murder suspect on a Top 10 Most Wanted list in metro Atlanta was arrested Thursday at an Ellenwood home, according to the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office.Authorities say Atlanta resident Bobby Curry had been evading arrest since Oct. 11, 2023. Curry was accused of murder in connection with the August 2023 death of an Atlanta man. Curry faces murder, aggravated assault with a weapon and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, authorities said. He was taken to the DeKalb County Jail, where he is being held without bond, authorities said."The DeKalb County Sheriff's Office locates and apprehends violent offenders no matter long it takes," DeKalb County Sheriff Melody M. Maddox said in a news release. "This arrest reflects our steadfast commitment to public safety."
