DULUTH, GA — The 19-year-old man who was killed in a Duluth shooting on Thursday has been identified. Gwinnett County Police on Friday said Xavier Tyler Stephens was killed in the shooting, which happened around 1 a.m. near Shackleford Road and Steve Reynolds Boulevard.Stephens suffered from at least one gunshot wound, police said. He later died of his injuries at a hospital, police said.Police did not release details of a suspect or reveal a motive in the shooting. Details that led the shooting were not immediately known. They ask that anyone with information in the case call detectives, (770) 513-5300. NextGen Creative Youth Summer Camp 2026 in Norcross, Georgia -- Gwinnett County -- is a hands-on, high-energy summer experience where youth ages 8–16&nbsp;explore animation, artificial intelligence (AI) creative tools, photography, storytelling, filmmaking, and multimedia production — all while creating their own original, screen-ready projects.
This is not just a camp — it’s a creative studio experience.

All youth projects will be officially screened at the 25th Urban Mediamakers Film Festival (October 2026) — red carpet experience included!
