OCD affects millions of people, yet is often misunderstood. The annual Atlanta One Million Steps for OCD Walk is taking place on Sunday, October 25 at 9:30 AM at Pernoshal Park in Dunwoody. Hosted by OCD Georgia in partnership with the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF), the walk brings together individuals with lived experience, their families, mental health providers, supporters, and advocates for a fun morning aimed at building community, increasing awareness, combating stigma, and working towards a future where no one affected by OCD and related disorders feels alone. There will be fun for the whole family, including activities and raffles for adults and kids and the option of a long walk, short walk, or hanging back to mingle at the pavilion. Every dollar raised goes toward supporting those impacted by OCD and related disorders by raising awareness, providing trainings to clinicians, and advancing vital research into the causes and treatments for the disorder. Whether you're living with OCD, supporting a loved one, or simply want to help create a more understanding world, join us to connect with others and take meaningful action!
