2 Mariners Rescued Near Tybee Island
The U.S. Coast Guard says two mariners had to be rescued after their boat became disabled offshore Tybee Island.

TYBEE ISLAND, GA — Two people were rescued after their boat became disabled Sunday near Tybee Island, the U.S. Coast Guard Southeast said Monday.
A Coast Guard boat crew rescued the mariners offshore on Sunday. The agency said their boat was left anchored "due to the sea state."
It is unknown what caused the boat to stopped working, and the Coast Guard did not say if there were any injuries.

The mariners were taken to shore, and the owners of the boat will recover the vessel, the Coast Guard said.
